What's the best theater company to buy season tickets to if I want to see a good show every few months, but hate reading through reviews and deciding what to see?  I'm thinking...
1. Convenient - Capitol hill or nearby
2. Frugal - I know it won't be cheap, but I don't want anything outrageous
3. Variety

Thanks for any responses!

I love the ACT Theater downtown by the Convention Center. Lots of modern plays, plus every few years I go to see 'A Christmas Carol' which plays every year and is a family tradition to go see. I'm sure there are cheaper theaters around, and I don't know how much a season pass is, but individual plays I recall run around 37-45 each or so.

As I was buying my tickets to 'A Christmas Carol' this year, I thought I'd check out some local theaters now that my kids are old enough to appreciate plays. I drive by the Taproot Theater in Greenwood every day and ended up buying tickets to see 'The Trial of Ebeneezer Scrooge' as well. This Wednesday, 11/23, is "pay what you can" night which is great for theater lovers who don't want to pay a lot. The season tickets looked extremely reasonable and the plays seemed varied and interesting. I also checked out the Empty Space Theater in Fremont and they also have occasional "pay what you can" nights and they do have great plays.
