My building is too stingy/lazy to offer recycling.  Anyone know of a place I can drop off my recyclabes?  Like a Ralphs or something in east hollywood?  Thanks

Some markets have the "re-planet" drop-off centers, but you have to go when there is an attendant and they don't take everything.  You end up bringing half of it home and probably use too much gasoline in doing so.

greenlagirl.com also has a ton of local resources for recycling.  She'll even tell you how to stop getting junk mail like circulars for the market.

Good luck.  It ain't easy bein' green in LA.

Good info, Cherie.  I end up recycling more than I throw away in the garbage, so I think it does end up being really important.
