Griddle Cafe is on Sunset near Fairfax east of the HOB. They are more known for the huge pancakes and french press coffee.
Dunno about French Toast tho...

That really was a great place... unfortunately, it's not there anymore :( It's some kind of garish and gaudy restaurant now -- think red, yellow, lime green (I haven't passed that area in a while either, but that's what I'm remembering). The corn flake french toast was out of this world. RIP Coffee House...
